4th of July Celebrations in the Beach Cities | Beach Cities Moms

Have plans for the 4th?  We have you covered!  We are so lucky to have a bunch of different celebrations here in the Beach Cities for 4th of July.  Check out some of the events below.  Which ones will you be going to with your family?

Manhattan Beach
July 4th Pool Party at Begg Pool

Join the Aquatics staff for a great celebration of our nation’s independence! There will be water games, water balloon tossing, swimming, and music. No food will be provided but you’re more than welcome to bring a picnic to eat on the grass area.

El Segundo 
Our 4th of July Celebration at Recreation Park is upon us!  During the day from 10am – 3pm on Stevenson Field, there will be community booths hosting games, selling food and much more! Stay tuned for details on our hula-hoop contest, watermelon eating contest and three legged races!  The Night event will begin at 5pm with the Main Street Band playing your favorite hits on Stevenson Field with firework beginning at 9pm.

Redondo Beach 
Celebrate Independence Day on July 4th at the City of Redondo Beach Fireworks at Seaside Lagoon!
A family-friendly community event and a front row seat for the Fireworks Spectacular. Seating at the Seaside Lagoon is first come-first served so arrive early with your beach blankets, chairs and small umbrellas. (Tents or other structures are not permitted.) Enjoy all day supervised swimming, arts & crafts, family friendly party and patriotic music and a special menu from Ruby’s Diner. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Alcohol and cooking are prohibited. Security & bag check required. Parking available at the Marina Parking Lot and Pier Garage. Bike racks on site. Don’t forget the sunglasses and sunscreen!

Palos Verdes 

The City of Palos Verdes Estates proudly presents An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July.  Enjoy family games like an apple pie contest, face painting, magic show, patriotic music, food and more.  Children are encouraged to decorate their bicycles in red, white and blue and participate in the Patriotic Bicycle Parade ( how cute is that)?!. This free community event is not to be missed!

Location: Malaga Cove School 300 Paseo Del Mar,  Palos Verdes Estates

Arts and Crafts Booths, Carnival Rides, Games & Contests, Petting Zoo, Jim Gamble Puppet Show!
On-site parking is $5. Complimentary off-site parking and shuttle service will also be provided from the dirt parking lot next to the Point Vicente lighthouse at 31550 Palos Verdes Dr. W.  NOTE: Rancho Caninos Dog Park will be closed during this event.
