It’s that time of year again, where we trade in our wetsuits and flip flops for scarves and sweaters. There are so many fun things about fall, and nothing makes me want to escape the hustle and bustle of LA like this cozy season.  Apple picking is one of the most quintessential fall activities and is available at several farms outside of the city.  You aren’t going to want to miss out this year, as apple picking also happens to be an excellent socially distanced activity- talk about a win-win!

We compiled a list of farms that have apples ready for picking.  Each farm has their address listed with a map linked, and all are located in Oak Glen/Yucaipa, which is about 90 minutes east of LA.  Definitely doable for a day trip or make a weekend out of it and stay in Palm Springs, which is another 40-60 minutes east.  Each farm has different offerings, some more simple (just U-pick apples and cider press) and some with a wide variety of activities available (such as farm animals, horseback riding, and axe throwing). There is something for everyone to be able to get their fall fix!
