Welcome to Meet a Mom Monday!  Meet Lizzie Curtis Alexandra- Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, she now has a tribe of (any day now!) 5, along with an amazing styling career and super chic jewelry line Society Nautique.  Hint to all Husbands out there- The Mama & Mini Bracelets make the perfect gift for Mothers Day!

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

I grew up in Manhattan beach, after heading to the east coast for school for a bit I came back to Manhattan Beach and haven’t left since 2005!

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

Duke 4
Ruby almost 2
New baby boy due in March 🙂

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

I am 6 feet tall 🙂

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

Definitely my momma a local pediatrician and all around amazing Nana who is always there for me with my questions and concerns. And of course our nanny 🙂

Favorite local places to keep/shop/play with kids?

I love taking the kids down to the pier, grabbing a smoothie and walking down to play in the sand and look at the aquarium!

Favorite things to do with your kids?

We love museums! We head to the science center, discovery cube or kidspace museum weekly! Then we stay local the rest of the week and get tons of outdoor time at all the amazing parks, South Park, live oak and polliwog are some of are favs for outdoor exploring!

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

I work full time as a wardrobe stylist on advertising campaigns for brands such as Nike, Target, the gap etc. I also have a jewelry line, called Society Nautique with hand made pieces by me! And when I’m not working on those two things and running my household and family (haha) I love to blog about all things life and mommy as well as inspire other mommas on Instagram!

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

The south bay is such a special place! Being able to be creative and live by the ocean has always inspired me! As a teenager I worked with local business Owner Nancy McFarland at one of her boutiques the Beehive and loved growing my passion for the fashion industry, which eventually led me to find my career path styling!
