It’s that time people! Time to convince your husband it makes sense to spend $200/$300 on matching PJs for the entire family so that you can take one photo on Christmas and maybe never wear them again. BUT – are you having a tough time picking the best ones? If you’re unsure where to start, I’m here to help. Whether you’re looking for matching jammies for you and baby, for the whole family or just for the kids, there is a great option out there for different styles and (sort of different) price points. Read on for a few of my favorites. You can thank me later for the 500 likes on your Christmas morning Instagram photo.
The OG Christmas Jammies – Hanna Andersson
For – For The Whole Family
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – Probably the most popular Christmas jammies (or ANY jammies!) on the high end baby market. They are known for their stripes – you can get the same for Mom, Dad and kids, or mix and match. They have great sales, so this might be one to wait until Black Friday for. They do sell out quickly of certain sizes, so be on the lookout once you’re ready to buy.
The OG Fancy Jammies – Roberta Roller Rabbit
For – The Whole Family
Price Range – $$$
The Lowdown – The prints are adorable (and recognizable, if that matters to you). The quality cannot be beat. SUPER soft and luxurious, and simply do not show signs of wear. You’re gonna pay for it though. Roller Rabbit runs VERY small, so size up. Teddy is 18 months and currently rocks a 2T….. and they are SNUG (….and he weighs only 22 lbs).
The Fancy Jammies That All Your Fancy Friends Will Wonder How You Got – Roberta Roller Rabbit x Maisonette
For – The Whole Family
Price Range – $$$
The Lowdown – The classic Roberta Roller Rabbit of above, but in *exclusive* styles made especially for Maisonette, the Vogue of baby clothes (literally though….the site was created by Vogue editors). I think these prints are actually even cuter than the ones RRR is selling on their own site, and they’re already sold out of a few sizes, so HURRY if you want them!
The Fancy Jammies That Are More Cool Than Cute – The Tot x Inslee
For – The Whole Family
Price Range – $$$
The Lowdown – These jammies are so hot off the press, you can’t even get them delivered yet, and their site only has the design sketches! My friend Inslee designed these jammie prints and TRUST me, there is nothing else like ‘em. If being first on the scene is important to you, these might be your pick. Also if you’re trying to avoid the more “precious” prints that are popular this time of year.
The Fancy Southern Belle Jammies – The Beaufort Bonnet Company
For – Mommy & Me
Price Range – $$$
The Lowdown – Everything on BBC’s website makes me feel like I should be sipping sweet tea on a wraparound porch in Savannah Georgia…or… something. Adorable prints and cute cuts for Moms. Like Roller Rabbit, it’s great quality but you’re paying for it. Fits more true to size. Called “Night Nights” on their site for extra Southern adorable-ness.
The Fancy Classic Jammies – Little English
For – Mommy & Me
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – The sweetest little jammie sets you ever did see. Perfect for a kids staircase photo on Christmas morning. If you’re buying the knit jammies, they run a bit small, similar to Roller Rabbit but maybe not AS tight. I also like that none of the prints are SO Christmas-y that you can’t easily wear them months later. New for 2019 – for Mommy too!
The World’s Softest Jammies – Eyelet And Ivy
For – Babies & Kids
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – My favorite thing about Eyelet & Ivy is how incredible soft and cozy their products are – all pima cotton, and much more true to size than some of the other brands. They also offer matching items for DOLLS in some prints. Best to pre-order to make sure you get the sizes you want.
The Year Round Perfect Jammies – Primary
For – Babies & Kids
Price Range – $
The Lowdown – While Primary jammies aren’t Holiday-specific, they’re a great option if the likes of Hanna Andersson appeal to you and you’re not looking to spend a fortune. Primary has excellent quality basics at super reasonable prices – so stock up on red & green jammies that you can wear even after January 1 (and for the cool factor – they have an exclusive collection with Maisonette too 😉
The Sweetest Embroidery Jammies – Sammy & Nat
For – Mommy & Me
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – It is physically painful for me to keep from buying all of Sammy & Nat’s jammies, a new-ish PJ & baby brand based out of New York. The layette embroidery is SO sweet and unique, and the painted prints are lovely.
The Jammies From An Unexpected Place – Pottery Barn Kids
For – The Whole Family
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – Maybe I’m the only one, but I truly had no idea that Pottery Barn made Christmas jammies….and they make a TON of them, in a ton of cute prints, and for the whole family! They run small, similar to many brands, and while they aren’t as super soft as some, the prices are reasonable (especially with their endless sales) and there are so many options to choose from.
The Chic Mom Jammies – Lake Pajamas
For – The Whole Family
Price Range – $$
The Lowdown – I discovered Lake Pajamas last year – they are (unlike the rest of our jammies list), a womens line first. I am consistently impressed with the quality of their collections, and was so excited to see they now have matching jammies for kids! This is for the stylish Mom who wants older kids to match but isn’t into “cutesy” matching.
